Daphne was still heating up the coffee for Daryn as she "heard" the words and thought about them. "It's a bitch, but you have to move on eventually." She didn't talk about what had happened too often, so it still stung a little sometimes. But every time, it stung just a little less. "Even with Travis, I did the right things, we did the funeral, sat shiva, all that stuff that he woulda wanted... for both of 'em. But it still took a while." She shrugged, even though Daryn couldn't see it.
The fire on the burner had gotten to just the right temperature, so she poured the coffee and brought it back, making sure to grab one of those little things of creamer and sugar. "When you're ready, you'll know. Just don't be in a rush. So, figure out what you want yet?" She put on a smile as she brought the coffee.
