Christien saw a lot that evening. Whether it was his sister promising him a cup of liquor or a woman setting a shot of liquor on fire, Christien knew one thing for sure. Birthdays were made for drinking. Okay, so he didn't really think that, but at that point he totally did. He was not drunk, thankfully, but he was a bit tipsy. Unfamiliar with alcohol, the little bit he already consumed made him slur a little in speech, but he was aware of his surroundings.
After finishing up with the woman who could light things on fire, which was an awesome demonstration to watch, Christien finally spotted Marie from across the room. He grinned a cute drunken grin and stumbled his way across the room. He took a moment to compose himself and appear as sober as he could. "Hey," he greeted. "Glad you came."
