Characters: April and Esme Setting: Friday afternoon, resident housing Summary: New job
April had gotten a 'job', working with one of the girls she'd met in her training classes. Initially, it seemed like something easy enough, she'd just have to show up at a party and dance. That sounded like fun, right? But after the first night, when April realized she was expected to do a lot more than just look pretty and dance with a few guys, she decided maybe this was not the job for her. It felt uncomfortable, and she didn't know why, but a little voice in her head told her it was wrong. So, after some asking around, April had found herself a new position, baby sitting. She liked hanging out with kids, it seemed more natural somehow, and they liked her well enough. It wasn't making nearly as much money as she'd made in one night dancing, but she felt better about the whole situation. This afternoon, she was sitting outside with her two little charges, watching them chase each other around the front yard of their house. April wanted to join in on the game too, but that didn't seem very responsible and she wanted to do well at this job. So she tried to act like an adult and just supervise for now.
