Forseti enjoyed his daily walks more than anything. Mostly because that was the one time he had the world to himself. The world, of course was actually full of people, but to him it was empty. Just him, his dog, and a long stretch of pathways engraved into the dirt by him and everyone who had walked these paths before him. The parks were nearly empty at this hour of the morning, and considering the threatening chill of late fall, early winter, they were even more empty than normal.

Which pleased him in a way he couldn't describe. Forseti had been alone for a long time. Not alone in the sense of he was a loner and had no friends. He even still had family. But that close bond between father and son had been severed so long ago. Between Mother and Son, gone. He had no brothers to share his thoughts with. No sisters to share them with either. So a lot of his time alone, when you could not call upon friends, or the family he had left, was spent with his dogs.

There were many dogs over the years. He could not say which was his favorite. Even out of the various breeds Forseti had a problem picking a favorite. He wanted to be fair. They all had their own good points and bad points. But he had never been into small dogs, although he did squirm a little in happiness when he saw a Pug puppy, or a toy version of a much larger breed. Just a little. In a completely manly way.

Hypnos wiggled slightly, trying to find the sweet spot. Every mattress had one. At least, every mattress that he'd ever tried before this had one. Except the memory foam mattresses which were just one entire bed-sized sweet spot. Hyp loved memory foam. ( This new mattress though? )
