Apparently his own thoughts on Thor and babies had been pretty easy for her to read. Which wasn't all that surprising, given how long they'd known each other, but still, he hadn't meant to insult her friend. So he didn't bother arguing with her. About any of it.
Instead, he moved past that topic to the one she'd introduced next. She'd lost her phone. And he was responsible for her having put it down. Did that mean he distracted her? He sort of liked that idea. In fact, he was pretty sure he wanted to continue to encourage that sort of behavior. There was a slow grin that spread across his face as he imagined all the ways he could possibly distract her some more.
"Good," said Kratos firmly. "You spend too much time with that thing attached to your hand." Which should let her know he wasn't going to help her look for it. "I can think of other, better things you can hold onto." Which would clue her in to the direction his thoughts had just taken.
Even if he hadn't been about to kiss her. Which he was.
