Excitement? What now? Kratos blinked as he leaned a hip against her desk, conveniently near where she was sitting. She seemed to have something against chairs, he realized it years ago. Now what was she saying? Thor had Carley's children? Thor?
But he didn't ask if she really thought that was a good idea, because it was patently obvious that she did. Of course she did. As far as Kratos could figure out, Ninkasi thought Thor could do little wrong because she always thought his heart was in the right place. Like a big dog that didn't realize it was crushing you as it sat on your chest. Basically, Thor was Marmaduke from the Saturday morning comic strips.
Except he wasn't. He was a big, boisterous, loud, dangerous god, who occasionally seemed to forget his strength and abilities as he smashed the shit out of stuff that was around him. Kratos had seen him do it. Kratos had seen him do it and then seen Ninkasi go talk to him like it was nothing. It appeared that she was the only one that could, actually. And while that was miraculous, and he'd never tell her to give up her friendship with the Norse god since it was clear that he meant a great deal to Kasi, the idea of Thor and children did not particularly set him at ease.
"Maybe you could text him," Kray suggested. "Get an update to show Carley so she won't worry so much. Might help, right?"
Plus it would be a way to check in on Thor herself, and that might keep things on an even keel. Hopefully.
