Loki started swinging the boy back and forth across his back, making the laughter grow louder from the child. “Yeah, let me break down how that might be the worst idea ever.”
For a moment he paused, just to get the boy in a better position for swinging and be certain he was clear of anything on the porch. “Sigyn isn't here right now, which is good... because you and her haven't really had your peace yet, have you? But she might come back and her seeing me covered in small kids that aren't mine might be an emotional thing still, which isn't terrible but adding you into the mix, man... might be a bit rough, you follow? Given your role in the whole deal with my kids last time... that you and her haven't had it out about yet...” Loki paused again, giving Thor a real long level look.
“Do you want that to come to a crest in front of these poor kids who had nothing to do with that? I'd rather their emotional slates be kept pure of that nonsense.” He took a deep breath and smiled at the small girl tugging at Thor's face.
His head turned down the road a bit, then back toward Thor. “How about this, I know where there is a small playground nearby and we can see how well they listen there. And if they run... well...” He grinned a Thor, “I can run, too.” Not very well as a man, but he was a shapechanger.
