Kratos arrived sans date. Not that he'd dare to call Ninkasi a date, since he was pretty sure that would freak her out about as much as calling her his girlfriend. And frankly, he was a bit nervous himself. This would be the first big social gathering after they'd decided they were more than friends, and he wasn't sure how they were supposed to act towards one another. Should he treat her like he always had? Was he allowed to ask her to dance? What?
He wouldn't have to decide any of those things for a bit though. Ninkasi wanted to be sure that everything was going to go smoothly at her bar tonight, and he could understand that. New Years Eve was a big drinking night, and people in Chicago weren't exactly teetotalers. So he was on his own for the moment.
Still, Kratos had dressed for a date. Though if anybody asked, he'd say that he was dressed appropriately for a representative of the King of the Gods. Despite the urge to get a Batman mask for the night, as a nod toward the Halloween party, he instead settled on a very simple yet elegant dark silvery-grey mask. He paired that with a suit, shirt, and tie of the exact same hue, though the tie was silk and had a lovely sheen to it.
Upon his arrival at the party location, Kray did his customary perimeter check because it was automatic at this point. Beyond giving him information to use for the safety of those he was responsible for, even on a night like tonight, it afforded him the knowledge of who was here already. To the side of the dance floor, he spotted a woman that looked as though she'd dressed to match him. With a groan, he realized that he matched his mother. Zelos was never going to let him live that down.
But he dutifully and gladly made his way toward Styx. It was always a joy to get to see her, and for a change, he was going to get to say hi before any of his siblings.
