Styx reached for her glass and took a slow sip before returning it. “For example: you do not ask the weeping woman in a cemetery the details of her husband's failed chemotherapy treatments. You would instead ask if she needed a handkerchief and how she met him. Situational appropriate questions.” Crossing one leg over the other, she smiled, “usually when people meet for the first time, I believe the conversations focus on finding a great deal of common ground and shared interests, to develop trust before more sensitive subjects can be tactfully broached.”
