"And I completely understand your preference for having things in order," she said, attempting to find common ground. "Though Thoth and I have a number of servants, I find that I need their help in order to keep my entire home from succumbing to entropy and my husband's absentmindedness. If I did not have their aid, I believe we would run out of coffee cups in a matter of days, as he does not seem to understand that once used, they must be returned to the kitchen to be washed. I have a theory that Thoth believes that the cups are magical things that just keep appearing for his use."
Seshat smiled mildly. "Would you like to lead the way to the living room? I'm afraid I'd stop to stare on the way if it were left to me. I am also a goddess of architecture, and I have to admit, I'm a bit fascinated by those silver columns."
