When does this game take place?: The game takes place on Earth One, after the events of Flashpoint. The game runs in real time.
Is there any certain location that the game takes place in?: As the DC universe doesn't really have a main focal point, no, there isn't.
Does the New 52 apply here?: No. None of the events from the New 52 apply here. This game takes place in the "previous" mainstream universe, so to say, and focuses on how Flashpoint affected it.
What sort of character can I play?: Any character from Earth One is game.
Can I played a character who died and maybe hasn't come back yet?: Of course! The purpose of the game is how Flashpoint affected the "old" DC Universe, and part of that is characters who died (ex: The Dibnys, Ted Kord) coming back as a result of Barry Allen altering the timesteam when he "fixed" things.
What canon point do I have to take my character from?: We understand, there are certain parts of character's canon that you cannot stand, or maybe aren't up-to-date on everything. For the time being, we aren't allowing any extreme changes to characters (such as something maybe affected the whole DC universe greatly, such as the death of Superman, or reverting Dick Grayson back to Robin), but any little changes that might have happened are allowed. For example, maybe Dick Grayson is back to being Nightwing, and not Batman.
Can I play a character from the New 52, Arrow, Smallville, or some other universe?: For the time being, the answer is no. All characters must be their Earth One counterparts. While me might allow for other versions of characters at a certain time, for now, tha's just too much of a headache to deal with.
Do I need to use a PB for my character?: While PBs are strongly reccomended, in the case of a character while it might be hard to find a pb for, such as Starfire or Cyborg, using comic icons is perfectly acceptable.
How many characters can I play?: At the moment, the character limit is six. This may be subject to change over time.
Is there going to be an activity check?: Of sorts, yes. This game is designed to be laid-back game, but at the same time, players are expected to well, play. All players are required to do at least one thread a month with a decent number of tags. We aren't asking for a lot. It doesn't even have to be with each character, just one. However, if a player is picking up a bunch of characters and then only playing one of them, they might be asked to maybe drop the ones they aren't focusing on.
Can I play a villain or a support type character, like Lois Lane or Alfred?: Of course! All characters are welcomed and encouraged. Just be aware, that it might be harder to play a villain, and that a character like Lois or Alfred might not see as much "action" as say, Green Arrow. But yes, those types of characters can be applied for, and are readily encouraged.
Is there an overarching plot I should be aware of?: While yes, part of the game will be focused on how Flashpoint affected the universe, with characters coming back from the dead and possible other events, no, the game really doesn't have an overarching plot. Players are more than welcome to run their own plots, and group plots will be run every now and then.
