Like Whoa

LJ-SEC: (ORIGINALLY POSTED BY [info]or_mabinogi)

A couple days ago I mentioned trying to go to a site only to find out that Firefox users are banned. I did use the workaround of utilizing the IETab plug-in for Firefox in order to actually get to the site. It was a scary place. Not someplace I would actually want to spend time.

Interestingly, I was not the only one confounded by this. A certain Stupid Evil Bastard (I assure you, a self-epithet not of my doing) has done the research as he was confronted with the same dilemma. His blog entry is far more enlightening than I can do justice, so please give it a read. In summary, the site he was trying to access was actually a different site than I was trying to access. However, both sites have the same owner (Danny Carlton — alias 'Jack Lewis'), leading to the same place: JackLewis.net! (You have to use IE or the IEtab plug-in on Firefox in order to reach the site.)

More interestingly is what is plastered all over that site: banners proclaiming "As for me and my blog, we will serve the LORD!" and "I STAND WITH ISRAEL!" The author also posts a lot against evolution, referring to it constantly as a religion. I am inclined to believe this person is a dominionist. He is, no doubt, an extreme conservative fundamentalist, and very likely an "end-timer".

I would have settled for calling him a crackpot for blocking all Firefox users, but his message reads even darker. Is there a study that shows most Firefox users are liberals?
