Where do Christians get the Rapture from? I mean really, and don’t give me scriptures of the Son of Man coming in the night like a thief. Do not tell me of two standing in a field and one being taken away. Those are nice, but, inconclusive for the belief people will just disappear from the face of the Earth.

The idea of a ‘secret rapture’ is known as dispensationalism, and is a plague on modern Christianity. It was originated by a man named John Nelson Darby back in the 1800s. Yes, Christ has been coming back to rapture us all away for more than 200 years. Of course after Darby’s “Rapture” the Temple will be rebuilt in Jerusalem, however, Acts 7:48 (King James Version) says, “Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet,”.

Perhaps Darby’s Rapture, expounded by the Holy Scripture most Christians consider the “Left Behind” series to be, is Satan’s Greatest Hoax. A hope to divide Christianity’s attention from matters of the now that could require their attention.


In conclusion, the doctrines of a single man are more important to Christians than the Word of God, because they like what the man says more.
