We know that many of you here are newcomers, and you are welcome here. Still, please make sure that you read and follow the instructions on our User Info page- particularly the 'no religious bashing' rule. That means everyone. There are plenty of other places to bash, but this isn't one of them.

Do your homework, too. While the Catholic Church can be strict and restrictive, it is not Dominionist in its goals. They are not vocally advocating the takeover of the US government or the destruction of the world in order to hasten Jesus' return. In fact, for many Christians, including Catholics, such beliefs are heretical. Dominionism is primarily a Protestant belief, held mostly by branches of the Pentecostal movement, and non-denominational churches.

We reserve the right to delete any post that violates our instructions. We don't do it often, but we do it with good reason.
