I couldn't find an invite anywhere in my IJ details, nor in my email. Then, when I attempted to join the comm from the profile, I got this:

Weirdness!

Next, I thought I would watch the comm first, THEN try to join it. That time, I think it may have sent a request to you as mods. I haven't a clue what's going on, there. But maybe that finally did it!
