Sia here! Unfortunately, even though I haven't had him that long, I will be dropping Rion (apolinar) since I absolutely cannot get a feel for his character. I was hoping that being involved in a thread would help with that, but apparently not D: (Many apologies to Zefiris-mun).

So, if you can, please remove apolinar from your f-list.

I will hopefully be picking up a different character in his place, and... I was wondering if anyone had any thoughts as to how the character would fit in with the game if I did app for him? I've put some info up here, so if anyone has any ideas, I'd be happy to here them :D Since I don't want to pick up a character I'm going to struggle with again orz He'd be on Niflheim's side since I'm taking him mid-series (and I'm not 100% sure as to how closely Maou will follow Mawang until the end).

He's a lawyer, but is slightly not 100% correct in the head. Other than that he's a pleasant guy. If you can ignore the almost permanent BLANK EXPRESSION.

*snigger* I can't remember how old Nino was for that photoshoot. But it makes me lol, because most of my icons for Shinji? Feature Nino somewhere in the range of 22 - 24ish (some are when he was slightly younger). It makes me laugh so hard that Nino can/could pass for a teenager at that age /shuts up now

He was sixteen when he joined Arashi. I feel bad thinking that Ohno was adorable back when Arashi first debuted, and he was nineteen, let alone a sixteen year old! XD Um, I will completely shut up now, because I can talk about that group forever. It's like ARASHI OPENING :o. Unable to be helped, it seems D: He's a brilliant actor though (Letters from Iwo Jima? He played Saigo ♥) Of Nino's features, though, his mouth amuses me the most. He ACTUALLY has ':3' lips xD; Why yes, I notice these things, shut up

I just happened to think he suited Shinji a remarkable amount (and finding suitable images of Takashi Tsukamoto? SO HARD D:)

Oh, God, I totally misread your ':3' and for two minutes was like, "Holy shit, he has three lips!?" But you're right, he does, so how can I shut up when I agree with you~ xDD. I don't know much - if anything at all - about Arashi, but I knew by name that he was in Letters From Iwo Jima, though I haven't seen the movie. I've been needing to make a list of all the films I've gotta see! So many good ones!

Yeah, images like those are always much harder to find than you initially think they are D: .

AHA. I LOL'ED. As for Arashi, w-well, all you need to know is; 'rainbows', 'gayest boyband that ever was' (FOR SRS. Two of the members CREATED THEIR OWN NAME SQUISH AND PRETEND THEY ARE DATING. As well as molest each other and arse grab frequently. IT'S KIND OF WONDERFUL). I always said JE was full of talentless, ugly hacks and that VK WAS THE WAY FORWARD YO, but then. Oh, dear D: I was talking to my teacher and I was like THERE'S A CON IN TOKYO I WANT TO GO TO ghfjkd, and she asked who it was and I was like 'gfgd >: Johnny's Jimusho group Arashi' and she ACTUALLY LAUGHED AT ME (at/with, when it's JE it's the SAME THING).

I do recommend Letters! I cried at it ;.; But then, I do happen to be a sucker for a well made war movie.

And kissed on stage. As well as sending each other hilarious love messages in a magazine each month. Like "somehow, when I'm alone, it seems I end up thinking about you" (LOL), and "instead of going out for a meal, would it be ok if I ate you?" (the reply? "...I don't think I'm ready for eating yet". Of course, that's from memory, but w/e. Shut up, I can't help it) The two members? Nino and Ohno. Ohmiya [SK]. They formed a comedy duo (OHno Satoshi + ninoMIYA Kazunari) and are general idiots when they do skits complete with THEME SONG AND RIDICULOUS OUTFITS. Shut me up now, I was not kidding when I said I can TALK FOREVER about Arashi and JE, goddamn D:

...D: My bad! JE = Johnny's Entertainment, the ~fabulous~ company that employs a number of idol groups (Arashi, KAT-TUN, SMAP, KinKi Kids, Tackey & Tsubasa etc). VK = Visual Kei, a label for a wide-spanning music movement. Involves androgynous mostly rock bands. They are, in my eye, the rock version of idols xD Although, if you like VK in Japan, you're generally thought of as kind of geeky /random tidbit Although, it's not exactly cool to like JE either xD And I KNOW my teacher does, I mentioned one of my uni teachers likes SMAP, and she was like LOL BUT THEY'RE OLD (bearing in mind the LOL'ing teacher is older than SMAP XD;)

Me and SMAP-liking sensei talk about JE. Although it did involve her ending up asking me in my ORAL EXAMINATION who I thought MOST ATTRACTIVE ghkd. WTH, teacher, wth D: (for the record, Nagase from TOKIO. He is a FINE MAN).

It's just these TWO scenes in Letters that has me going ;~; EVERY SINGLE TIME. Jarhead gets me, for some reason, and so does Platoon, the beginning of Full Metal Jacket, the letters scene in We were soldiers-- D:

Holy crap, what brats >: I'd tell them in no uncertain terms to get lost.

That aside -

THAT IS FANTASTIC! Damn, if you're gonna have fun with it and the fans eat it up, have at it! Good times all around!! And it's so funny, cuz Nino looks like one of those sweet, innocent types in the icons, so to hear about that just fizzle-pops my mind. You can talk as long as you want - I gotta learn this stuff somehow! =D

Ohh, gotcha. Really now? So the rock company is the one that's seen as dorkier and slightly less trendy? That's a twist! It's hilarious your teachers even know who they are - all of my teachers would throw Oscar Wilde in my face and be like, "WE KNOW WHAT'S COOL *grrface*." But now that you've left me a list of names, I'm definitely doing my own research!

I haven't seen Jarhead or Full Metal Jacket, but I've seen Platoon and We Were Soldiers, and yes, I get teary-eyed through all of that stuff. Which is cool - I'd rather cry in a war movie than have you stick me in front of The Notebook with a box of tissues.

I did that, but meaner. One of the boys has a seven-month-old baby sister. I told him dead baby jokes. He got the picture. ^_^

Precisely! And oh, man, does it make things amusing. AND LOL. Nino is the most non-sweet guy ever. Sarcastic, bratty, blunt, stingy and a rather obsessive gamer. Yet he looks like a rather sweet seventeen year old xD He also happens to love pulling pranks. On one of Arashi's old variety shows (D no Arashi), Nino had his own corner (Ni no Arashi, wow, great pun, guys) where he JUST pulled pranks on the other members. It was marvellous.
Ohno + Nino -> play fighting
Nino -> coughs up 'blood' (fake blood)
Ohno -> O________O D:
Nino -> just about kills himself laughing and is all 'I did it, guys :D Ya~y~ MUM, I DID IT'
Ohno -> D: D: I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO DIE [because you coughed up blood]

My Japanese oral examination. For some reason, Ooeda-sensei was like '...So, you like Johnny's, right? Who is your favourite? *brief pause* like, most handsome?'
Me: ... most handsome?!. N-Nagase *died*
BOTH teachers: LOL

But JE pretty much OWNS the idol scene in Japan; EVERYONE has heard of JE, and EVERYONE has heard of SMAP. They're like the ~ultimate~ idol group, with Nakai as one of the ultimate idols xD Even though he CANNOT SING. But he is hilarious, which makes up for it. Kind of xD;

Jarhead is REALLY good. I was a bit '...' about watching it at first, but then I did, and it's WONDERFUL. As for FMJ, I only ever remember the boot camp bit, and it gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME D:

Hahahaha! The icons LIE! THE ICONS LIE! I'm looking at the bubblegum icon now with a whole new appreciation. Give me a variety show any day - pulling pranks is an addiction worth skipping rehab for.

So I looked up Nagase - he looks a bit more Westernized than most! Is he full-blooded Japanese? Maybe it's the goattie thing that gets me. Your teachers have a whacked out sense of humor there!

So is SMAP famous because they're hilarious and good looking then? Not to be offensive. D: And what does it stand for? Yeah, I'm definitely going to have to look these guys up!

Ahahaha xD Isn't it. V6 are just as awesome with pranks. They pranked the whole of Arashi with male (fake) assistants dressed as girls. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL. Nino was that distracted by his DS he didn't notice until the third boy came in dressed in full kimono garb. Even then he only managed a distracted 'o__o w...ha...t?' xD Before throwing full enthusiasm into pranking the rest of Arashi.

Yeah, full blooded. I think it's his facial structure and how well built he is. And yeah, the goatee might have something to do with it xD I think he looks better sans-goatee, personally, but w/e xD He also happens to have a personal vendetta against trousers <3 And is REALLY not intelligent ("I KEEP A WORD DIARY. I write an entry EVERY DAY. Sometimes, I even write words that are 5 syllables long :D", Tokio -> "GIVE US AN EXAMPLE", Nagase -> "[word]", TOKIO -> "THAT'S THREE SYLLABLES YOU MORON") great song :D, just ignore Nagase's LOL PERM.

I... Don't really know why SMAP are famous. Probably because they were considered to be good looking and their music was infectious and catchy? IDK. They were around at the right time? Something like that. IMO, they weren't that good, as far as boybands go (Arashi > SMAP any day xD; And Arashi has Ohno who can sing and dance gorgeously hgfjdk and Nino who can sing, compose and write lyrics and this is kind of beautiful. Right now, would you believe Nino isn't my favourite member?)

And I had to look up what SMAP stood for. Apparently 'sports and music assemble people' (...right, great naming there, although it doesn't beat the name of KIS-MY-FT2. Or ABC. Or B.A.D. Or even NewS or Hey! Say! Jump!).

If I went to youtube, would I find this? *__* I know, I'm lazy, I could just look for myself, but I wouldn't know what keywords to use. Now if they could all come over here and do that everywhere, we'd love them just a little bit more. Just a pinch~.

Goatee! That's how you spell it. Gah, self... Yeah, that could be it - you expect Asian men to be a lot leaner and with less facial hair. Vendetta against trousers? THAT'S GREAT! Now if we could get the rest of them to do the same... And LMAO, guy can't catch a break xD. AND THE HAIR, HAHAHA! I spent the first thirty seconds just staring at it, but the song was great! I liked the piano. ^^

Yeah, well, like you were saying - around at the right time - when you're good-looking and you're bringing something new to the scene, chances are you've got instant success. And ASHDLJSADLSK!!!!! As a lover of fellow piano players and of hot guys who wear glasses, this was like four minutes of sheer paradise for me. And if he isn't your favorite, I'm dying to know who tops this list~

I just h ad a look and apparently it's not on youtube or veoh :( I may have to upload it myself because, well, it's the MOST FANTASTIC thing ever.
Aiba's reaction was wonderful. He was just like 'but you have BOOBS!' when he was told their male xD BLESS. Ohno just followed the 'hairstylist' without question, causing the rest of Arashi to go D: D: 'HE COULD BE KIDNAPPED SO EASILY' (he's apparently FAR too trusting)

AHA tell me about it. More men really SHOULD have vendetta's against trousers. Nagase has a habit of trying to take his off whenever possible. Even on TV XD

Niji (the Nino song I linked you to) really is just jghfkdg. It's one of my favourite songs and y-yes. Nino in glasses with that hair and guh. Ohno is, actually (there are three other members who I haven't really mentioned but adore equally, but Ohno is just marvellous).

Ohno -> oldest (27 currently), leader of Arashi (THROUGH A GAME OF ROCK PAPER SCISSORS ON TV), does NOTHING leader-y for the most part, incredibly laid back, obsessed with fishing, still lives with his mother, FAILS AT BUYING CLOTHES (most of them are gifts orz in 2006 there was a BREAKTHROUGH "recently, Leader started doing something amazing. HE NOW BUYS HIS OWN SHOES. Except they're from mail order catalogues D:"), and anything and everything is delicious to him - no matter the age or what it is (10 year old coke? NO PROBLEM, 10/15 year old curry? NO PROBLEM D:). He choreographs dances for his solos and has a completely gorgeous voice. Mostly though, he's just really special and is BFF with Nino. Or something xD

Although apparently all his recent work (stageplay -> concert tour -> drama recording + promo alongside 3 variety shows a week and fishing) means he has apparently not been eating enough gjfdlkd On Thursday's variety show they mentioned how his weight is somewhere around 40kg atm D: D: D: EVEN JUN, the super skinny 'I eat two mouthfuls and am full' member told Captain to eat more D:

Otherwise in Arashi, there's Aiba, who is REALLY SPECIAL and a master of Engrish. He wonders things like 'can you make a lifesize paper boat and SAIL IT?' and 'how many balloons does it take to make someone float?'. He then experiments with these things.

Jun - the most popular and famous member. Skinny. Kind of a dork, but lovable. Good actor, though. And Sho, Keio boy who FAILS AT SPORTS COMPLETELY. And being funny on purpose and chat-up lines. His level of fail is REALLY AMAZING ♥

WATCH IT AND ENJOY IT BECAUSE ORZ I'm doing a fail translation HERE. Only Captain and Jun to go orz. The Jun bit will be kind of summarised because it takes the form of an interview. The bit with Captain is adorable though. SERIOUSLY WORTH WATCHING. HE GETS BULLIED BY A COMPLETE STRANGER ♥ AND THEN FOLLOWS THEM. God he's adorable and special.
