-- Timeline One. As the realm quickly approaches its first year, Metatron is ill and the Asgardians must find a way to cure him. Niflheim’s most intriguing plot so far lies with Rascal "Sal" Phoenix, who has taken advantage of Metatron’s weakness in order to infiltrate Asgard as a character named Brandy.

-- Dorian, Kamina, and Mitchell decide to form the first group to retrieve the first talisman, the Spear of Lugh, located in the mysterious caverns called the monster caves.

-- When the demon Flauros finds Brandy in Emptiness, she reveals herself as Sal to him. Together they plan to lure out Morana and Eileen of Asgard, as Brandy calls for help. Soon after she accepts Carrion’s help, Yako collapses in Emptiness.

-- Brandy continues to act out and form problematic attachments to the bad guys while also getting entangled with Alessa. Maria privately sorts out her issues while Reno contemplates his budding friendship with her. Henry notices the beginning of spring, and so does Brandy. She invites him to Asgard's pool to get to know him better.

-- When Brandy tells Alessa that she was mumbling the word "Alizer" in her sleep, it sparks something inside Alessa. The two hang out, and Alessa reveals her dark past to Brandy.

-- Despite Blythe's initial reluctance, she reunites with Una in Emptiness.

-- Sydonai delivers five more riddles and Dorian shares them with the rest of Asgard.

-- Carrion makes a public apology to Yako while also making plans with the banshee Una against Yako. Sal sends more reports on Asgard to Emerald, Flauros, and Una while the gunslinger's private notes detail an unexpected problem on dressing up as Brandy. Meanwhile, Una is dealing with some memory loss and Blythe offers her help. Schrodinger also tries to talk to the blind oracle.
