Zombie Week
Zombie Week (January 25th to January 31st) is right around the corner, and this is to just clarify a few things.

1. All (intact) zombies will return to the Bloodmire on the night of the last day. And zombies who have been destroyed will have to be cleaned up manually. You kill it, you clean it up. This isn't to be mean, it's just to be real.

2. If you get bitten by a zombie, you have five hours before you "die" and come back completely undead. We're talking nothing but moans and groans, a hunger for flesh, and the inability to make rational decisions. Again, keeping it real. (On that note, just repeating what was said earlier - if you're turned, you won't remember a thing after you "die". When you come back at the end of the week, the last thing you remember is dying.)

3. If you'd like a weapon, there will be a gun on every person's desk when they wake up the first morning. You don't have to use the gun - it's not a requirement, because we know some people don't know that weapon or have their own weapons - it's just there in case you want to get Resident Evil on their asses. The guns will also disappear at the end of the week.

4. If you're in Emptiness, zombies will be there too. Nowhere is safe!

5. There is a safe room on the top floor of both houses. Zombies cannot enter here and it provides all the resources you need to stay cozy - food, a bathroom, some beds. This is for any character who thinks they can't handle the assault.

These are just posted to keep everything from getting messy or confusing. If there are any specific questions (like, I have no idea, "Are all the zombies humanoids?" Answer: No, they don't have to be.), feel free to ask!

On Syd's Shop

I'd just like to add: While Syd's Shop will be protected from the dreaded zombie assault (wouldn't want to lose all that treasure!), the Shop will be closed for business for the week (except the 31st since she had made a deal with Darth Vader).

Characters who find themselves in Emptiness can "use" the Shop as a safe house for a brief period of time. However, I won't be able to thread (with Syd) any safe-house scenes since my first week of the new semester will keep me busy enough. ^^

Can't wait for Zombie Week! XD

I'm alright leaving it where it is (hurrah, I had first comment, d'aww!).

I might need to amend that later, depending on another plot (*whistles* seeeecret), but for now, that's where that stands. Muhaha.

And whoa, am I really tired right now. xD

Can Frank have a steel pipe to fight zombies off with? I always wanted him to smash something with a steel pipe like his son does in canon.

If you'd like a steel pipe, my dear, then it's yours!

Thank you! He will make good use of it, unless they bite him first.

Just to make sure I understand the rules for Zombie Week:

What happens if a character is made into a zombie and another has to for example shoot them in the head in self-defence? Would that fall under the you-don't-remeber-being-a-zombie-and-get-resurrected thing?

Uhhhhhh... I thought about that, but didn't think anybody else would. xD Um, no. Unfortunately, you can't shoot your zombified teammates. Just to abide by the game rules. Good question, though!

Ok. But what about the average dismembering of zombies? Like hacking off an arm etc.?

If they're your teammates - yeah, you can tear off arms, all that good stuff, as long as you don't kill them. xD They'll be fully reformed and they won't remember when they transform back at the end of the week anyway.

Normal zombies, you're free to do whatever you want to them!

Only for the own team? An Asgardian cannot de-arm a Niflheimer, if he finds them zombie-fied?

No, not just for one's own team. It works both ways. I meant that it includes all player-made characters. ^^

Haha, whoo!! If you're gonna have zombies, you have to be able to carry a gun. You can't have one without the other, man. xD
