Who: Marc Montague, Lucy Weasley
What: Lucy's first full moon
Where: An abandoned house in the woods, miles away from civilization
When: Tuesday, May 17th evening
Rating/Status: Probably low/Incomplete
Marc Montague wandered around the old house he'd stumbled upon a week ago, putting up whatever charms or wards he thought could help Lucy's transformation. He couldn't believe the first full moon was already here, and the thought made him nervous. When the attack had first happened, Lucy and her family had agreed that she would remain home, and that her cousin would make and administer the Wolfsbane Potion. The plan sounded fine, until a certain someone just had to snatch the Potter kid before he could finish brewing the potion. The moment Marc figured out that Nathan had taken Potter, he'd thrown himself into old lore on Werewolves, trying to find the best way to help Lucy. So within days, he'd found this old house, and scouted around, making sure no one would stumble onto the property during that time. He'd purchased meat this morning, and walked it around the property, hoping it would be enough to keep Lucy the beast? her werewolf self in the area.
Nathan had figured out just what Marc was up to, and Marc shouldn't have been surprised. Once he'd realized what Nate had done, he'd somewhat confronted the older Montague, practically telling him the pieces he needed to form the puzzle. Well, and then there was the fact that Nate was holding Lucy's cousin. It was only a matter of time before Nate put it all together. The thing that did surprise Marc was that Nathan had reluctantly helped them out. He'd procured the brewed potion that Lucy needed, giving it to Marc just yesterday. While he didn't know exactly how the potion would help, with Lucy only taking it for two days, he figured any potion would be better then none at all.
As Marc glanced around the house one last time, he thought about just what was about to happen. Lucy was going to turn into a werewolf, and he was going to be there for her, as long as he could. He planned on staying with her, hoping that the potion would help enough to keep her... well, her, and not the werewolf. But if it became apparent that the wolf was in control, he was going to apparate to the nearest town, and hope that Lucy doesn't wander from the abandoned house. But he hoped it wouldn't come to that. He wanted to stay with her the entire night, letting her know that she was not alone. Because he loved her. It had taken him years to realize it, but when she'd been attacked, he knew the feelings he felt were more then just friendship. It had still taken him several weeks to admit it to himself, and it wasn't until Potter had disappeared, and the thought of her going through a full transformation, that he'd finally said the words. Except the realization had come when he was yelling at his brother for screwing everything up.
After confirming that everything was finished, Marc disapparated, arriving at Molly and Lucy's home. He walked up to the door and knocked, setting aside his thoughts of love for the moment.
