THIS IS AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM TRINITY

I'll be gone allllll day Saturday! It's horse-show time. woo hoo wish me luck! As many of you know I was on a horse I had only ridden once or twice last time. This time's even worse! I've never even met the horse I'm riding! EEK. So I'll see you Sunday sunday sunday! (I'll be here all night, too!) Also.

I guess it's time I put this up sooner than later, but I'm slipping into Carmen Sandiego mode and going on a hiatus. I'm leaving for Italy and Greece this Friday (the 24th), and I'll basically be out until July 3rd, where I have 5 days left at home before I head over to the States on the 9th. I've no clue how much Internet access I'll actually have for the next 10 or so days, but I know for sure I won't have a whole lot of BTW time unless Italy happens to be loaded with free wireless.

That said, I'm going to catch up on tags today and tomorrow. I'll definitely be able to check my email (widowcity at gmail.com), so I'll be kept up to date on any emails you guys want to send over (I'm totally all ears for any plot ideas).

Hello, Order friends! Meeting #2 time! (And I've (briefly) discussed this with Lisa; making this ooc will save everyone time, so Order meetings should be here from now on!)

This time Fabian would like to bring up the subjects of:

• Defending Hogwarts; Mentioned at the last meeting, but details are needed. Lily and James should be able to help flesh this out, even if they plan on returning next year or not.
  
• Fabian would suggest teaching some older students (5th, 6th, 7th year) who will be returning to Hogwarts basic defence (without giving the Order, or their identities, away).
• Training for James and Lily, as well! (Plus any others who may be inducted, but for now)
• James has a proposition for everyone...

**Because of this huge post of awesome things, I'm going to move the activity check to JULY 1ST. The check will cover everything from the last ooc post (June 3rd) until July 1st.

I may or may not be MIA this week. *coughs* supposed to have a horse show this weekend but my mount pulled lame last night. He's an Off Track Thoroughbred and had hoof problems that were corrected with new shoes, unfortunately, the change freaked him out as he had to relearn to do simple things again on even footing, and he ducked his back and went lame. So I might be riding a new mount, which means super Trinny stress. As it stands Thursday is my super-omgwtf-bbq busy day - I'll be at the barn from 11 till 3 then work from 4 to 9 then work in the am on Friday. Saturday i'll be gone, also, for most of the day, as whoever I'm riding has to get bathed from head to tail, from shoulder to hoof, so it'll take awhile. Especially if he goes sound - he's grey. it's been muddy. YOU do the math. Sunday is the show and i'll be gone from 4am till 6pm but I WILL have my phone on me. Use it and abuse it if you have the ##.

Hello everyone!! I am Victoria, and I'm bringing to you two of my peoples, Evan Rosier and Delia Avery. I decided to smush everything into one OOC post, so I hope no one minds. XD

Um. I suppose I should say a bit about both. Evan Rosier is currently on the path to receiving his lovely mark. He's rather quiet and removed, but secretly he's quite worldly and kind. Don't tell. This is, of course, when he is not practicing his most loved hobby of being a serial killer. o_o...Contradicting, I know. His mentor is Antonin Dolohov who has been his father figure and teacher in control and purpose. Feel free to approach!

Aaand Miss Avery is next. She is rather complicated to unravel, but once done, she is rather lovely. She is mature beyond her tiny 17 years, though a bit snobbish from being raised in the lap of society. She can sometimes be described as foolish for her dreamy, and dangerous ways of making decisions. She is currently being homeschooled, but I would love to plot with fellow students and adults alike!!

She is also learning to bake...So. Just saying. Cookies make everything amazing.

HI! My name is Angela, and here are fun facts about me!: 1. I need a job. 2. I'm in Theatre and stuff. 3. Stumble probably thinks I'm a backpacking Marxist photographer who dabbles in Buddhism and reeeally likes cats.

But this post is introducing Mr. Fabian Prewett! He is a 32-year old employee in Magical Reversal Squad within the Ministry, and also in the Order! He's rather gorgeous and brilliant, if you ask him. He has an affinity for fine things, and likes to keep up with the muggle fashions. Sometimes it's a crash and burn, but he gets a kick out of it. He's an incredible drama queen, and since moving out of Gideon's has been rather lonely. But he won't every say that out loud. He's loud and friendly though, so don't be shy!

AHOY. So, yeah, I'm here with another character, the more-fabulous-than-this-brother GIDEON PREWETT (It's Lisa here :D).

He's 32, ex-Puddlemere United chaser, current Broom Maker, Order member, pretty fun etc. He was married awhile back but his wife died when she gave birth to their daughter, Sophia, who's now 6. I think. Anyway, she's adorable, but he's terrified of actually getting married again and his daughter was born with some health problems so he's afraid of her dying, too. Though she's okay now.

Hi everyone! I'm Lauren and I am bringing you the infamous Peter Pettigrew! Future deceiver of his best friend, the Dark Lord's devoted servant. The Weasley family pet. You know the deal.

Anyway, Peter is a bit of a bumbling fool with delusions of grandeur who has very little self esteem and is easily manipulated. Obviously he has friends in the marauders. I was hoping to soon begin exploring his descent into the dark side, so maybe some Death Eaters could eventually entice him with promises of power and women and fame and all those wonderful things he craves.

I also wouldn't mind finding him a female to obsess over/stalk. I think it could be fun, and she can feel free to hate his guts/be creeped out by him!

Hi there! My name's Cindy and I'll be bringing in Marlene McKinnon into the game. I'm a 22-year-old engineering student currently living in New York for uni, but I'll be moving out in a week's time once I graduate. Anyway, I can be dead boring if I ramble about myself, so instead, I'll introduce Marlene.

• She's a 23-year-old member of the Gryffindor class of 1972, card-carrying member of the Order of the Phoenix, and a broadcaster for the WWN (she hosts a radio show that plays mostly rock music for the hip, younger demographic). She wears all three things like a badge of honour.

• She comes from a well-off, pro-Ministry (not pro-Dumbledore -- they always thought that old age was addling his competence a bit) pureblooded line, and her parents are well-known Aurors. She also has two older brothers who are successfully working their way up the Ministry ladder. The McKinnons are pretty well-known within the pureblood and Ministry circles. Marlene's kind of stressing over her parents, since she's pretty certain that the Death Eaters will go after the Aurors.

• Marlene is basically your glorified anarchist; she hates your blood purists, and thinks that the Ministry can go suck her nonexistent balls. She's vocal about her political beliefs and appreciation for Muggles. Because of this, relations with her family are kind of strained, at best. She still cares about them, but she moved out of the house the moment she left Hogwarts. Hey, it ain't easy getting along with them if you're trying to subvert the very organization that they work for!

• Personality-wise, she's very sharp. A smartass, really. She doesn't really have a filter, and almost everything is laced with a sardonic tone. She thinks Muggles are the absolute shit and totally geeks out over Muggle stuff like classic rock, comic books, and camping. As a student in Hogwarts, she gave her parents a lot of hell for being a rebel; she drank, smoked, and cursed like a sailor. Her grades were okay enough to get a decent Ministry job, but Marlene had zero interest in exploiting her parents' connections. She applied for a WWN job on her merit, which was perfect for her, given her love of pop culture, music, and the spoken word. She cares a lot about her friends and family, but she has trouble expressing a lot of her "softer" emotions. Most of her snark is a defense to cover up that side, anyway.
