Leave it to Stanley to be fairly nonchalant about just about anything when he thought that it should be forgotten, he slowly kneeled down and picked up the phone (all of it) before taking another breath. Arm extending towards her with those lillies, he hadn't forgotten and the fact that he was able to maintain a collected demeanor spoke worlds about him.
"About that."
What the hell could he say? 'Yeah, I survived the explosion and did it because someone was using Moretti Labs to engineer humans--or something like them--for their own gain and the likely detriment of society?' He had the element of surprise in the whole situation, but words failed him as he openned his mouth and a deep breath was drawn in through full lips. She was as beautiful as he remembered, he wondered how he looked to her now. Hair was a bit longer than before, he had shaved the stubble he usually wore and his face was probably weathered a bit from those treks across Africa.
His mouth closed again as he let out a less-than inspiring huff and rubbed the back of his neck with the parts of her phone as he thought of something to no avail. His brain had been transformed into a super computer and yet the woman caused him to lock up like the first time he asked her out, maybe...just say something!
