Charlie Grey 1. Charlie gets flustered if he has to speak to a large group of people - one grade at NAA is fine, but put all the students or faculty in front of him and he gets a little shy. He doesn't use a lot of "ums" or "uhs," but he'll have awkward pauses.
2. He remembers most of his dreams, thanks to his mental discipline. Vivid dreams worry him because they can actually cause him to astrally project. He dislikes this.
3.
4. When put on the spot, Charlie goes with what he thinks people want to hear - he needs time to make sure he's picking his thoughts.
5. Charlie's eyes and face get tight after too much reading and strain.
6. Charlie doesn't worship any particular faith, but he's attracted to the ritual and ceremony of Christianity. He knows about the White Hot Room, though, and that makes it hard for him to give in to actual faith.
7. 1. Likes to identify people as books in his head and spends a lot of time thinking about the right pairings. 2. While he doesn't shy away from drinking, he's scared of actually getting drunk and can get a little obstinate about it. 3. Greatly prefers "trashy" genre lit to classical works, though he's reluctant to admit it. Give him Grisham over Melville any day. 4. Is jealous of his alternate reality "siblings," Rachel Summers, Nate Grey, and Nathan Summers, because they've embraced their powers and their heroism while he's hidden from his. 5. Has every note, card, or letter he's ever received. He keeps them in a fire-resistant box in his closet.
8. Charlie rarely has to juggle these days, but he can multitask if he needs to. The mental discipline he's gained training his powers allows him to concentrate on a lot of different things at once. His life is just much more slow-paced than most people around him.
