Vic Altman 1. If anything, Vic can sometimes wax poetic or get too sappy in his speech, which can lead people to write off what he's saying as overly hokey. Aside from that, he doesn't really have any issues - he's been teaching for years and that tends to train you to speak without stumbling.
2. Vic has vivid, elaborate dreams that he attributes to working with magic. He remembers them often, but they're so bizarre and banal by turns that he rarely tells people about them.
3.
4. He excels at thinking on his feet. The more time he has to sit with a thought, the more sides of it he examines and the less certain he becomes - until he breaks through to the other side and gets super-convicted.
5. Vic's back gets tense before anything else - which has a lot to do with how he sleeps. He likes to sleep on his back and doesn't prop up his knees like he should.
6. Vic is Jewish, but he tends to look at it as an ethnic and cultural identity, rather than a religious one. He's mostly agnostic. Studying magic has taught him not to make any definitive statements about the universe, but he doesn't actively believe in any religion.
7. 1. Sometimes talks about the cape community like he's talking about comic book characters rather than real people. 2. Doesn't really care that much about food - he'll eat almost anything (except ham/bacon/pork, which he avoids out of respect to his heritage). 3. Frequently rubs his engagement ring, either with his right hand or by spinning the ring and rubbing it with his thumb; he's slowly, subconsciously imbuing it with magical energy, turning it into an arcane focus. 4. After a few months sleeping with a partner, it becomes extremely difficult for him to fall asleep without that person in bed with him, unless he's on the couch. He can always nap on the couch. 5. Distrusts people without pets, at least a little. He knows animals can sense occult things that most people can't and he tends to assume that people without pets are people that pets don't like.
