» Pella is definitely brave, but she's not what I'd call chivalrous. She was strong-willed in the end, and you could call the changes she's made in her life very Gryffindor-esque, but it's not enough. I view Gryffindor as the house you have to choose to be in. Pella doesn't consider herself a hero and doesn't aspire to it, so even though it's probably her runner-up house, it's not correct.
» Pella can be loyal, but not in the Hufflepuff sort of way. She isn't afraid of hard work, and she's not unfriendly or unkind or terribly dishonest, but it's just not enough to put her in this house.
» Pella's pursuit of experiences isn't really enough to put her in Ravenclaw. She's smarter than she tends to let on; she never went to school and got her GED at 25, but she's a hardcore autodidact and a borderline genius with linguistics. She's not academically motivated necessarily, and she's not nearly competative enough.
