[11 Mar 2015|12:31am] Uh oh. Annie here with her third, and he's a he and aaaah. It's Nick Rogers, the fourth piece of the puzzle. Black sheep, bad boy, general thorn in the side. He is one part asshole, one part charmer, but the asshole part is much bigger. He resented Owen and Jes early on, especially during the whole golden age where Owen led the Avengers and Jes rose through the USAF ranks. Nick dropped out of Avalon Academy when he was 17, dealt drugs, drove motorcycles, etc etc. He's the Rogers kid who routinely flipped off the paparazzi, dropped f-bombs for TMZ, and got his kid sister drunk for the first time. Not a good role model. He probably would have pulled a James Dean and died at 24 if he hadn't caught the attention of a certain shadow agency in the government -- the Weapon Plus program, affectionately called just Weapon X by some. Same program that was originally responsible for Captain America's Super Soldier serum. They offered Nick a chance to not only get out of NYC, but potentially escape his parents' and siblings' shadow. With Nick's Kree genetics, they molded him into a viable living weapon. Super strong, near-invulnerable, and able to predict his opponents' moves a split-second before they happen, Nick became Weapon XX. Or just Weapon. He basically did the dirty work. Black ops stuff like removing cartel leaders, assassinating presidential candidates in second world countries, eliminating leaks -- anyone or anything that no longer served US interests, they sent in Nick. For ten years, he did the Suicide Squad thing. It also meant he wasn't around very much. But he's back! Nick had pretty limited contact with his siblings for the past decade, bolstered by his shitty communication skills. He popped in to visit Owen in the hospital after the District X thing, but didn't make contact with Jes after the Air Force discharged her. He popped up at mainly inopportune times, and always whenever they were alone. He never visited his parents. (Mainly because his mom would kick his ass for being such a prick. And he and his dad... don't exactly see eye-to-eye on moral ethics.) But now that he has decided to say fuck you to Weapon X, he's basically laying low in the open where he knows his former handlers can't exactly touch him without exposing themselves. SO YAY. Oh, he's also Jes' twin! So anything you like! He's possibly? the only 100% hetero Rogers kid. I've basically worked out the framework of how he and each of his siblings gets along, but I'm open for any and all backstory with others! He dropped out at 17, but hung around until he was enlisted by Weapon X at 22. So he likely knows anyone with connections to the Rogers ilk -- ie. Steven, who he used to consider his best bro back in the day. Woo! ♥ 17 comments add one

[11 Mar 2015|12:45am] SO Franklin brought all the kidlets into the common room to have a pow-wow. He just wanted them all to be together, lighten a mood, etc, so he could keep an eye on them and everything. Secretly, he was also making sure everything was safe and all clear, before he let them go to their rooms (around midnight). Feel free to have them complain about it/etc. They probably had popcorn and other bad-for-you snacks and generally had a fun time for a few hours :3 Fun as it gets with an RA around, anyway! 1 comments add one
