Alright, Doctor Who-y folks. We've been given the courtesy of actually allowing for timeline-mucking, given our canon's time travel, alternative timelines and etcetera.

However: With Sarah Jane most likely coming from contemporary times (As in, Sarah Jane Adventures Sarah Jane), we might as well try to hook up, anyhows.

How will I make the Brig young again, in that instance?

Thanks to Paul Cornell and 'Happy Endings', I have a temporal blast deus ex event that I can easily feed into our chosen timeline so that I don't have to scrounge up old-ish Brigadier icons (and increase his likelihood of being, you know, healthy enough to survive in the apocalypse)

The questions part is more for the Stargate folks, since I'm not very familiar with that canon, but the Torchwood people should be in on the discussion.

We're working on the timeline and backstory for how the world ends. The current plan is to have people call in the experts from Torchwood and Stargate as soon as the rift starts to open. Torchwood because of their experience with this specific situation and Stargate because they're the closest the US government has to experts in this case.

Is that reasonable, given Stargate canon? Do you want your characters to be part of a first-response team? This set of characters will also be setting up a sort of makeshift base that will contain the rift and work towards closing it completely and setting the world back to something roughly resembling normal.

We'll have more details soon (and keep in mind that nothing is set in stone yet) but I'd like to hear your feedback on the Stargate involvement.

Also, if anyone has characters from another canon that might be called in on a situation like this, let me know.
