It appears that some number of userpics may have been lost. We had a disk failure though we did not expect to have any userpic loss as they are supposed to be replicated over several disks. However we have received a report of a user who has lost some userpics. We are looking into why they weren't. We are very sorry for the inconvenience that this has caused.

    Hmm, I seem to have lost 5 of mine. S'ok though because I keep a folder on my external drive just for my icons, so I can replace them easily.

    I seem to have lost a little over 50 :( sucks but I will live. Hopefully I still have most of them backed up.

    Lost a ton, not just on one account. PLEASE tell me this is not permanent because I've got, on this account alone, over three hundred userpics. I don't really have a way of repairing them either. Some icon originals are no longer around.

    This account alone seems to have lost at least 145 icons. It's a paid account that I only got because of the massive amount of available icons.

    I hope they're recoverable though. I had some really awesome icons on here, and it's not my only one to have lost icons.

    Adding myself to the list that have lost a ton of icons across several accounts, including several permanent accounts. I hope they can be recovered, but knowing for sure would be great.

    I didn't count them, but I missing somewhere around 150 maybe more.

    For the sake of more data, 19 out of 111 of mine are showing as broken and I'm seeing broken userpics for several people on my friends list. (It's not a big deal to me, since I have them all locally anyway.)

    I have more than one journal thanks to roleplaying (about 30 accounts) and they have all been hit by this (some more than others) - I am hoping that this is not a permanent issue and can be restored somehow. Many of them are paid or permanent accounts as well so I am uncertain on exactly how many icons are missing currently.

    IDK if this helps anything but it's all my older accounts affected. The more recently made accounts (end of May and on) don't seem to have any missing.

    I've lost a LOT of user pics.Dunno for sure how many.I stopped counting when I got to 150.SHIT,I will not be able to replace. :(

    Lost 40+ icons over several accounts... I think I have most of them backed up, but I hope this can be sorted out!

    If it helps at all for info, the vast majority of mine lost were all uploaded around the same time period. When I look at my userpics, it is a big clump missing, rather than a random one here or there.
