This is going to take probable 3-4 weeks to get all of the inactive accounts as there are a lot of them and I don't want to kill the servers doing this.

    I have a quick question that hopefully someone can answer. When I typed a username in to see if it was deleted, it directed me to a different deleted username. (I'm guessing the username was renamed and they chose the "automatically forward users from ___ to new username" option. ) My question is, when the username is purged, will the re-directed name free up?

    I hope that makes sense, if not let me explain it a different way. Let's say I went to view the username xx and it automatically went to the username xxp, and xxp is deleted. Once xxp is purged, will xx be freed up? Thanks to anyone who can help!

      I'm assuming the same applies to deleted accounts as well.

    i don't know if this has ever been asked (or answered) but is there any way to transfer paid time to another account if we get a name in the purge that we want to move to?

      If you rename your account to the purged name, all of your paid time and everything will be the same.

          Ah, nope then. The only case of paid time being transferred is if you buy a permanent account.

    I'm not sure what's going on with this, but. I have several deleted usernames in my notifications, so that it will notify me when the username has been purged. Except I logged in today and looked at my notifs page to see a lot of the UNs had been changed to things like "ex_username23". I checked and sure enough, someone had newly registered the actual usernames.

    Does this mean the usernames had been purged, and other people have registered them, all without me getting any sort of notif? Because that sucks. :/

      yup. notifications aren't working. that journal was already purged and grabbed. sucks, doesn't it?

    I tried to buy rename tokens today with paypal but it didn't work, paypal said to check with you about it (that was the alert that came up) nothing was charged to me it just said the payment wouldn't go through. Is this happening for anyone else?

    i bought two renames for usernames in the purge on thursday and have yet to use either and today went to use them both and i keep getting "Invalid rename token." every time i try and proceed. i'm clicking the use links right from my inbox and even copied/pasted the codes and no luck. any idea what's up? the money came out of my account so there's no reason these shouldn't work.
