Who: Christian Avery.
When: Late Monday evening/early Tuesday morning.
Where: Hortense's flat.
What: Christian completes a little assignment in order to pay back his debt.
Rating: R, just to be safe? For violence and death.
London was dark and still - as still as a city packed with millions of souls could be in the early hours of morning. Hortense Clay had not been hard to find when Christian had access to just about any information or files he dubbed necessary, the perks of being a well-off Ministry employee, and as he walked, silent as death, along the sidewalk toward the building of Clay's residence, he thought to himself that this woman was certainly more trouble than she was worth. This part of London definitely did not possess the charm or the luxury he was used to, although he could not have honestly set higher expectations for a muggle-loving, incompetent jabber jaw like Clay.
