Spencer let out a thankful sigh as she was reprieved from having to read any more of the book. Okay, so she might have enjoyed parts of it, but she certainly couldn't read any of that out loud! Or so she had thought.
Following direction, Spencer shut the book and immediately tried to force back the images from it from her mind. Obediently, she turned to face Professor Carrow.
"I think it definitely sounds like a book you'd keep in your dirty library." Spencer countered, deferring the question, as she was still figuring it out for herself. Though she wasn't going to let Carrow know that. "It's clearly written from the dominant view." she ended. Maybe she could avoid the real question by simply pointing out its literary merits.
