Lucy took a deep breath of the Italian air that she knew and loved. Despite the horrible circumstances that brought them here, she was still happy that she could be in the country she loved with the woman that she loved. She loved the communal feel of the pen square market. Everyone was friendly and it was nice to hear and speak her native language again. It felt like...home. Especially with Katie there with her. It felt right.
She had broken away from Katie for a bit to browse on her own, looking for something for Katie to ease her mind about all the happenings in England and worrying about her parents. Smiling when she finally found what she was looking for, she paid the merchant and turned into an alley to shrink it so it would fit in her pocket for now before returning to the square. She hoped Katie would like it.
Now, Lucy set about to find her lover. It didn't take her long as she spotted her and the young man that was clearly flirting with an obviously confused and flustered Katie. Lucy by nature wasn't a jealous person, and she knew how much Katie cared for her, so the sight before her was pure lost in translation comedy.
Standing back for a few moments and watching, Lucy brought her hand to her mouth to stifle a laugh. After a few moments, Lucy decided it was time to go help her lover. Wearing dark skinny jeans, blue flats and a sheer, flowing floral blouse with her long dark hair flowing freely, her bangs held back with a blue barrette, she snuck behind Katie and slid her arm around her waist. "Mia amore." She said as she kissed Katie's cheek before turning to the man.
"Excuse my lover, she doesn't speak much Italian.<\i>" Lucy gave a charming smile at him before turning to look at Katie. She looked beautiful and adorable in the sun dress. It was so different that the usual Katie. And so much the opposite of how the quid ditch captain acted in the bedroom. Lucy appreciated that dichotomy. "Italian men are all flirts, amore. But perfectly harmless."
