"Hey, Davis," Pansy Parkinson sneered as she looked down at her housemate. "Don't get any ideas while you are down there. I've heard the disgusting things you do to girls you kneel in front of." Heidi arrived just in time to receive a pointed look from Pansy.
Tracey looked relieved as Heidi was suddenly at her side. It was silly but Tracey felt like Heidi was her hero in that moment.
She started to get up and a sudden pain shot through her knee where it had struck the stone. "Ouch." Tracey faltered a little and then got back up.
"Hey, Pansy," Draco Malfoy called to her in a voice far louder than necessary. "I think Davis might be off to do that right now." He cackled and was joined by a bunch more Slytherins.
Tracey did her best to make a hasty retreat. "Wow," she whispered to Heidi, her voice cracking a little. "They really hate me now." She had to fight back tears. Maybe things were going to be far worse than she had feared.
