Quiet to the Vulcans meant not speaking at all. Their sensitive hearing heard every word spoken by the Humans. It served to distract them, as they couldn't help but devise better methods of doing the project the Humans were doing. However, it eventually became too much for T'Pau to bear.
"You may save a minute if you cut this and this out of your introduction...and an additional two minutes if you condense your analysis of each culture," the Vulcan woman interjected, pointing at the places in question upon the nearest Human's padd.
Raising an eyebrow in a Vulcan equivalent of surprise at his sister's outburst, Vaun slowly lowered it and returned to his work. He did not think T'Pau understood the danger she was getting herself into by speaking to the Humans. It would only lead to more talking...Humans loved to talk. Most illogical.
