Pansy had enjoyed the last hour of shooting down Hermione's ideas and insulting her. In a way, it was a last hurrah for her. The comments about Hermione being a Mudblood and how she wasn't worthy to shine a real witches shoes and that sort of thing had grown boring and no longer had the impact they once did. Pansy, while talking to Daphne Greengrass, had come up with a new way to humiliate Granger. She had planned to wait until Daphne was with her and Hermione in class the next day but maybe she would try out her new material to see how it played?
"Unless we can find a way to clean up their filthy blood that doesn't risk tainting a respectable witch I would say your idea is just as terrible as the rest you've offered today." Pansy gave her a sacharine smile as she regarded Hermione.
"Come now, Granger, I have ideas. I just don't think that you would ever have the courage to see them through, no matter what you Gryffindors say about bravery and all that rubbish." Pansy tilted her head and let her gaze wander over Hemione for a moment.
"Did you cast a Shrinking Charm on that blouse?" Pansy asked, leaning in just a little and staring at Hermione's chest. "You are looking more...endowed than normal," Pansy observed in an even tone that tried to convey that what she was saying wasn't completely inappropriate and rude!
