Who: Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley
When: Harry’s 17th Birthday, around 11PM
What: After Ginny tried to give Harry “something to remember her by” and was interrupted by Ron and Hermione, she seeks him out again to try to give him his birthday present again

Ginny sat on the edge of her bed, listening to the stillness of the Burrow that wasn't ever really silence. She had grown up in this house that seemed to breath with the life of its inhabitants. Ginny often wondered what it sounded like while they were all away at school. Ginny tapped her foot the thread bare rug in front of her bed. She should be asleep, the wedding was tomorrow and she knew that it would be a long but fun day and she needed her rest. She knew this, but she couldn't sleep when all she could think about was the person occupying her brother's room 2 floors above her.
Ginny had known it was foolish to think anything could have happened in the light of the day between her and Harry further than snogging but now that she thought about it the more it pressed firmly in her mind. She hadn't wanted that kiss to end, hadn't wanted Harry to stop touching her, caressing her, she had wanted all of him and to give all of herself to him.
Then her thoughts were shattered by the sound of someone on the landing outside of her room near the bathroom. She crossed to the door and cracked it slightly and saw Harry retreating into the bathroom. Heart slamming in her chest, she gathered her courage and waited for him to come out, her door open enough for him to see her standing there in her soft pink, short, strappy nightgown, legs and arms and shoulders all bare. |
