As surprising as it was to her, Lucy was actually looking forward to her date today with Katie. Usually, she never liked dates, they were just boring precludes to the inevitable shag and then the other person turns out to have never been romantically interested in her in the first place, citing that she was too weird or different. But she actually really liked Katie, though she knew not to get her hopes up too much.
After a long debate with her quietly eccentric wardrobe, Lucy had decided on an outfit of dark red corduroy skinny leans, a brown paisley fitted blouse under a suede fitted jacket with her own embroidery done on the sleeves and back and finally accessorized with a few necklaces and bracelets and leather boots.
Standing off to the edge of the group of students as they entered Hogsmeade, Lucy waited patiently for Katie to arrive. |
