Moving everything Jessica owned from the flat in Wales to the house in Ireland seemed daunting when it was just her facing it, but bring in practically everyone she considered a friend and it was a cakewalk. Well, a cakewalk if the participants are cats, but it still got done, and in a fraction of the time it would have otherwise.
So there was plenty of free time in the afternoon and hey, Jessica needed a shed built. She already had all the parts for it, so she just needed muscle.
After that, though, party. Jessica had bought loads of beverages and meat for cooking over fire, as well as a number of snacks and things. To her, having everyone over for a barbecue and gathering was less about herself and her new house and more about just being together, something she repeated perhaps too often to anyone who would listen.
The lawn was clear in the center with various chairs and such around the outside, the patio was food-central, and the driveway had a table with drinks and a small stereo.
The grill fires up at four and the gathering goes until people leave or the neighbors get annoyed.
