Who: Tessa and OTA What: Eating and being lost Where: A diner When: Backdated to the afternoon she arrived (she's yet to be found by anyone) Rating: TBA
Tessa was sitting up on one of the tall stools that lined the counter in the small diner that she had walked into, swinging her bare feet back and forth. Her odd school books and shoes sat on the stool next to her, as she leaned her elbows on the counter. The cheery woman behind said counter had spoken to the lost girl when she had first entered, very plainly seeing that she was not from around town. When asked if she was lost, Tessa just gave a little nod. Normally she wouldn't have admitted to that so easily, but she had been stuck in the 21st century for hours and the novelty of it was quickly wearing off. In a matter of hours it would be evening then night, and she had no way of getting home to her parents or anywhere to stay in the 21st century. She was beginning to think that perhaps she should have stayed put where the rift had spat her out, at least there she would have had a better chance of being tracked down by anyone who had the proper technology.
With a little sigh, the red headed child leaned her head against her arms on the counter. She refused to panic, although that was exactly what she felt like doing it. The waitress had asked her if she wanted her to call the cops, to which Tessa said no. Mostly because she had no clue was 'cops' were, and figured it was better to steer clear.
Tess lifted her head when a plate was placed in front of her. Cheer up sweetie, the waitress told her with a smile as she left the plate holding a piece of cake on it. Tessa managed a smile at the sight of the sweet, she was such a sucker for junk food. Even though her father and Jack hated how much junk she ate, but that was one of the good things about being lost, they weren't around. So she tucked into the cake happily, her worries drifting away for the moment. Even though she knew in the back of her mind that the moment night came, she'd most likely end up panicking.
