Who: Lissa and Jill
What: Being sisters
Where: The infirmary
When: After Lissa's session with Dr. Bloom
Warnings: Angsty
Unsure how she'd gone from sitting in Doctor Bloom's office staring down at her hands to her secrets spilling out, Lissa felt exhausted. Tears and words came flowing out and she hadn't expected to become so emotional. She'd told Alana about what happened last night, some of what Caleb had said to her, and how she'd believed him. She'd told her about the bunkers and the photos that Dick had sent her. The Moroi and dhampir that had been experimented on and then murdered with their bodies left so disgustingly and haphazardly on the floor of the bunker.
Even with all of the confessions and tears, Lissa still didn't believe that she was completely innocent of what had happened to Vera and the others. She still knew that she had blood on her hands even if it wasn't the real blood that was her own the night before. The aftermath was still a distant memory, but she remembered the minutes with Caleb in the cell vividly.
After she'd finished the session, Lissa was a mix of emotions. She hated feeling so vulnerable again and in front of a shrink of all people. But she also felt a small weight lifted off of her shoulders. Christian and Rose had gotten some of the details out of her last night when she'd first been brought in, but she hadn't told anyone everything. She'd not told anyone but Rose about the bunkers or the pictures. Somehow she felt relieved that she wasn't carrying it all on her own even if she didn't believe Dr. Bloom, Christian, Rose, Dimitri, or Adrian when they told her it wasn't her fault. Lissa still firmly believed she'd brought this on herself.
She hadn't been released from the infirmary yet, so she was led back to her bed where the others were waiting for her. The usual crowd was there as was Dimitri and when she looked up she saw a face she hadn't expected and wasn't sure if she was ready for. Dr. Bloom was beside her not saying anything and Lissa looked at her questioningly. She wasn't ready to talk to Jill. She couldn't face her yet, but instead of get the hint that she needed to ask her to leave, Dr. Bloom gave a short greeting and then excused herself back to her office.
