Part of Damien wished he could go along with her to the prison. His mind told him that he really actually can, but it was only his choice keeping him from it. Ne felt this as a necessity. Part of him, a very small, tiny part felt like this was slightly a penance for his dark past. But mostly he knew others still needed to be free. It was a nice start getting Claire out, and some of these vampires, but he wished to do more.
He paused, hesitant as he accepted the hug. It was.. nice, actually, realizing it was one of those human interaction things he hadn't got much of for a long time now. "Believe me, I really wish I wasn't staying too," he said, smiling as the embrace then ended. "But it's just for a bit longer, just to try freeing a few more. And to try to get more information about this place so I can pass it on later." Staying behind a good idea? Probably not. He could feel there may be a time when they figure out how to weaken him. Or to dampen everyone's powers. He'd just hope for the best.
He moved up the ladder rungs, ordering the guards to stand watch, as he led the way out. Eventually he got through the top hatch, to see them on solid ground, near the woods. Ahh, solid land, earth, once more! Nice. Once Claire had come up, followed by the group of other freed hostiles, he walked over to the transport van waiting for them. He spoke into the comm then, "Driver - it's nearly time. Take a stop by the vampire brothel first to drop the vampires off. Then the prison, for Claire, and leave the vehicle there." He opened the van's rear door, observing as several guards approached - his own - loading a couple stacks of guns and uniforms. Then Damien turned to Claire once the vamps had boarded in. "Alright, your turn, so.. I guess this is where we part. You're nearly home free. Oh, and remember the message. Especially about you being taken at the prison. And hey, maybe they can even put these guns to good use too."
