Who: Ellis and Rogue What: Getting caught in the earthquake/tsunami When: Saturday Where: The projects Warnings: Never going sight seeing again lmao
Okay, so he knew was just a sad situation when a bunch of people were being kidnapped and brought to some other world filled with zombies and monsters of the week but Ellis was living for it. He thought it was the most awesome thing ever and maybe that was a little naive of him, but Ellis always thought of the good and wanted to look at the positive instead of being a negative Nancy. Not that he was insulting dear old Nancy down at the old convenience store he and his buddy Keith used to loiter at but even she was a little glass half empty on her best day and Ellis just didn't understand why.
Hell, this place had so much more than what he had back where he was. He missed his friends terribly but right now, again, positive - he had a place to sleep, he lived in a fortress and he was surrounded by interesting people. Plus, there was food. No, it wasn't the greatest but hell, it was better than what he had before!
Right now with all the military being stationed around, well, that was a little intimidating but it didn't stop Ellis from leaving the prison. He just wanted to see what all this place had to offer. He sent a message to Zoey telling her he'd be back later and then he was gone. Oh, and he was armed to the teeth too. Guns and knives and maybe he might have made himself a molotov cocktail, you know, for them hordes that liked to try and sneak up on ya. He was good. He knew how to take care of himself.
He made it right to the projects and he was looking around, just imagining what this place used to look like. The apartments and the buildings and the old stores that had been picked through. Shit, some places were wiped clean. It wasn't a surprise. People had to do for themselves and he would have been the same way. He and Zoey done found that storm cellar filled with food and guns and ammo and they took for themselves too. Had to. People had to survive.
Making his way into one of the old stores though, he looked around at what was picked over. Things were just thrown all over and Ellis could only imagine if this place was cleaned up, what it would look like and what people could use it for. Well, shit, now there's an idea.
Suddenly though, everything began to shake and Ellis found himself in the back of the store with shelves and breakables falling all around him. He felt himself get hit in the back of the head and he felt a little dizzy for a second but he pushed through all that and began heading to the front of the store because he wasn't about to get buried under all this crap.
