He tilted his head over the table a bit and watched her draw. The drawings were a little crude but they got the point across, so that was what mattered, anyway. He could easily understand what she was envisioning. Instead of having to carry different kinds of weapons, they could go with one weapon that had different kinds of ammo within.
"It would have to be a bit bigger to cover all of that, probably more like shotgun sized," he explained. He actually remembered something similar from a sci-fi movie in the 90's that starred Bruce Willis. The weapon there was bulky, but it got the job done. He could definitely improve upon that design and get Faith most of what she needed.
"I like the idea of UV rays especially." If he could get something similar working for his suit, then he could definitely get something similar rolling for a handheld weapon. "A gun that shoots UV light would definitely be a deterrent to any vampire that wants to fuck with you." Not that it would stop every vampire, but shooting one in the face would definitely give it pause. Just because he'd taken a particular liking to one vampire (and his childe, too, because Pam was hysterical) didn't mean he wouldn't build a weapon that protected against others.
"I love it, actually. Something like that would cover a lot of bases, especially if I can get the UV part in working order. Even if I can't get it working on the gun itself, for whatever reason, I can always make an attachment to go with it." That would be the simpler option, but if Tony ever went the simple route, that would just be boring.
"You've actually got a good eye for weapon design. Color me impressed." Not that he was that shocked; to his understanding, fighting way a Slayer's thing. Sure, their weaponry seemed to be more medieval, but they could definitely use some modern panache. That's where he came in, though.
