Who: Molly & Dominique What: Patrolling and talking When: Bendy-ish Where: Prison yard to start Warnings: TBD
It had been days since Molly had tried to speak to Dom, but her best friend wasn't receptive in the least. She had spoken to Theo and she liked to think they were okay now, but everything still felt off because it was as though she had lost her best friend. Which, she supposed that was what she deserved. When Dom needed her, Molly didn't quite care, downplaying the fact that her girlfriend had died by saying she would find another one. Molly didn't have a soul, under normal circumstance, she would have never said those things, but in the end, she had. It came from her. Soul or not, those were the words that Molly chose to tell Dom and she felt terrible about it.
Theo had been telling her for days to talk to her, to keep trying but Molly felt as though her boyfriend was tired of hearing about it. And some days, she would try. But Dom wouldn't be in her cell, or she would be busy from what Molly could see and Molly didn't want to disturb her. But either way, she figured she would.
Molly had been on sentry duty for nearly an hour so far. She had a stake on her, as well as a knife and she was also holding a crossbow, as it was her favorite weapon. She noticed Dominique, alone, walking the perimeter and Molly's eyes grew a little wide. Perhaps today would be the day Molly would stop avoiding and instead, talk to Dom face to face. It was only right. She didn't want this to drag out, the days wasted and the hurt unnecessary.
"Hey," the word love almost left her lips, but she managed to stop herself. She bit her lower lip and continued, her eyes looking around. The two of them seemed to be on perimeter check, but Molly thought perhaps they'd walk outside the prison walls so she could talk to her a little more privately.
"Up for a bit of patrol?" She asked. "I thought maybe we could talk. Or I can, you don't have to say anything," Molly told her because really, Molly just wanted to tell her how she felt and that she was sorry for hurting her. And then if Dom didn't want to say anything, or didn't want to go at all, then she would back off.
