Who: Maria Hill and Amara
What: A SHIELD officer loses her soul
Where: Out in Everett
When: Bendy
Warnings: TBD
In the back of her head, Maria knew that she probably should have taken a partner out with her to raid today. However, people were busy, and she was needing something for her still. People were talking about setting up their own bar at the prison, which really was a great idea, and she knew that was something that she could easily contribute to. They weren't going to be finding alcohol out in Everett and the surrounding area forever, were they? So far, she'd only really been giving the alcohol that she made to people that she knew, but she was perfectly OK with supplying a bar, especially if it kept the people of the prison safe from having to go to Fangtasia.
She didn't have a problem with Fangtasia, per say, but the Projects as a whole was unsafe. Vampires weren't supposed to kill humans there, but if someone got caught on their way to the bar or back? Who the hell knew what the policy was, if there was one at all. Not everybody could fully defend themselves against any random asshole that might jump them while out there. So, having an option at the prison? It was genius.
Because of that, Maria was already plotting the idea of possibly building another still. Of course, having another still would require her to possibly teach someone else her recipe. It was a family recipe, but she didn't have children, and God help her if she had any here. She would likely wait until she had someone that she trusted that wanted to do it, though. You had to be careful with making grain alcohol. You didn't want to accidentally kill someone, after all.
She was looking through a local hardware store when she heard a noise behind her. Instead of calling out, her hand went to her side arm, flicking the safety off but not pulling it out just yet. Instead, she went into a crouch, waiting to see if whatever made the noise would show itself and she could asses the danger from there.
