Who: Tony and Bruce Where: Tony's part of the Engineering area When: Night after getting rescued What: Seeing just how damaged Tony is from this Warnings: TBD, but talking about character death will be involved
Tony didn't speak much after being taken away from the house the twins had kept him in. He spoke when spoken to, but he didn't offer anything of his own. When he got to the prison, he let medical look him over and then got into a shower, scrubbing himself raw to get the blood off of his hands and arms. He knew that it was a psychological response that he kept seeing it on his hands even after he logically knew that it was gone, but he still stayed in the shower for over half an hour before coming out.
After that, he moved what few things he kept in his cell he shared with Sam out and shoved everything in his corner of the Engineering area. He wasn't aware that Dean had a mark on him that made him maliable to the twins. He just knew that Dean Whinchester had been the one to lure him and Alex both out, only to hand them over to Mark and Luke. Tony just knew that, if he saw Dean right now, he'd attack the man. If he heard Sam try to defend him, he'd likely attack him, too. So, instead, he just moved out.
He wasn't even sure if he could stay in the prison at this point. For all the safety measures they had in place, someone inside the prison had gotten to him. Who the fuck could he trust? He knew he could trust the other Avengers. Hell, he was even pretty sure he could trust Bucky and Wanda at this point. Worst come to worst, he knew they didn't want him dead (at least not anymore, on Wanda's part.) He was nigh on positive he could trust Pepper and Tandy. Hell, he knew he could trust Eric and, by default, his progeny. Taking everything else out of the equation, Eric would need to keep him alive for his own benefit. Beyond that, though...he wasn't sure who he could trust.
For now, he kept himself shoved into a corner of the room, keeping himself facing the door so that he could make sure that no one had the option to sneak up on him. Considering how low on trust he was at this point, he legit wasn't entirely sure if someone might come in and stab him in the back. He had a blanket wrapped around his shoulders, partially in an effort to keep down the shakes, but also to avoid looking at his hands. He still kept seeing blood when he looked at his hands.
