Who: Kol and Lucien What: Bumping into eachother When: Bendy time Where: The projects Warnings: N/A as of now
People seemed to be back to normal. Whatever normal meant anyway. Diana had been different. If different actually meant better. She loved what she did and she believed herself to be the best - which she was. Kol never doubted that. He didn't need a demon inhabiting his body to tell him that. So sure, he encouraged her behavior because who didn't need a little pride? Confidence was incredibly sexy anyway and Kol enjoyed himself when he was around Diana. But now, the fun was over and even Kol had been swept away, but again, it didn't change him to an extent where it was actually telling. The Mikaelsons always carried with them a certain flair and were proud as hell as they were.
Especially now as Kol was making his way from the Inn and toward the projects to see his little witch. He had no idea that Diana was ready to let herself go. To quit holding back. It would be a vision to watch because Kol believed there was nothing wrong with it. There was no reason to bind any witch, them or their magic. He didn't believe in it. To him, Diana would only get better once she fully accepted what and who she was.
Of course, she could have accepted other things, but Kol knew that in due time, she would. They had been staying together and besides their time at the Inn where she was once again possessed by something or another, their time together had been business if not for a little teasing here and there. He liked the girl and perhaps he even cared but Kol knew all too well that those he cared about dicked him over in the end. It never ended well, whether it was family or otherwise. He wasn't looking to find himself at the receiving end of despair.
However, he was in the right mood to gut someone.
"Lucien," Kol said, his eyes on the vampire. Yes, Kol knew of Lucien, only the last time he had seen the twit, they were in France. Lucien had helped him and his siblings hide and live among the villagers in order to stay off of their father's trail. And of course, it was Kol who had lost himself in his feastings, killing and feeding to the point where they had to flee, but nonetheless. Kol didn't know the full story of them actually coming to New Orleans to put his siblings through hell, but he was sure it ended with Lucien dead and yet, here he was. Everett was bittersweet in that way, wasn't it.
