Who: Willow and Tara
What: Willow reunites with the love of her life basically
When: Bendy to when she arrived
Where: The Prison
Warnings: Sadness I'm sure
It was hard for her. Willow remembered what it felt like to care for someone else after Tara's death. It had been a while since she had felt anything after losing her and she had gone over the depression and the self hatred. Willow never thought that she would get to that place of acceptance but eventually she did and she was okay. Willow came to terms with everything and moving on was just taking a step forward after that. Things with Kennedy...they were alright but it wasn't this epic, amazing love story. Willow knew that she could never have again what she had with Tara.
She felt like this was what it was like to reopen a wound that never fully healed. There were scars deep in Willow's heart after everything that happened. She never wanted to go back there but feeling Tara and knowing she was alive, feeling her presence after everything. It was almost unreal. For a while there Willow didn't even know how to breathe.
It didn't take her long to find where Tara was staying. Willow could hardly believe that she was in a place like this. Her first instinct was to run to Buffy but that was a whole other spectrum of emotion that she was keeping bottled inside for the time being. Willow's emotions were highlighting themselves but she had to take baby steps. One thing at a time for this wiccan girl.
When she reached Tara's cell she was a little nervous but who wouldn't be? There was so much that the two of them needed to talk about. Willow mostly wanted to hear about how Tara was and how she was fairing in a place like this. It seemed like this world, whatever it was, wasn't exactly doing anyone any favors. Willow wanted to have the means to fix that if she could.
"Tara?" Willow called out to her and she hoped that after all this time her expression didn't give away just how confused she was with all of this.
