Who: Maya and Ash What: Making new friends Where: The roof When: Bendy times Warnings: Drug use to start off with
Maya found it hard to just get over Emily. How could she? She loved her. She spent the days after their talk trying to focus on other things. Like her job for one, but that only helped a little bit. It wasn't fulfilling and Maya found that she couldn't wait until her shift was over so she could be on the roof. It was calming and relaxing and she listened to some used Ipod, listening to songs that she remembered and getting to know newer songs as well. She just needed something different. Whatever that was anymore. The girls from Rosewood had their own lives here and while she did like them, she knew that she was just Emily's girlfriend. No, correction: Emily's dead girlfriend. And years have passed for them. They never owed her anything.
The afterlife was lonely as hell, but Maya was finding her way.
She normally didn't screw with people on the network, but something stood out greatly. There were two guys who were picking on another guy about his sexual experiences and Maya, bored one night, decided to reply back to one of them. Of course, that just opened another door. She didn't think anything of it because it had been days though, but she remembered how lame it was, but even through the lameness, she actually laughed for the first time in days. And it was so stupid.
But right now, her mind wasn't on that. It was on what she was doing, which was packing a bowl. Nate was a godsend, somehow, he had exactly what she needed and he didn't ask for anything. He was happy to make her feel better. She packed it up and lit it, taking it in and that's when she heard footsteps behind her.
Turning around, she held the bowl close to her chest as she looked at the tall guy standing a few feet back from her and he was waving a bottle of alcohol in his hand.
"Hmm," she smiled lightly. "Mr. Two Seconds," she teased and turned to look ahead and then down at what she was holding. She reached her hand out, patting the side beside her. "What brings you up here?"
