Who: Octavia and Selene What: Late night talks When: Bendy after they arrive at the gated community Where: Gated community Warnings: TBD
Octavia hadn't been back to the house since she had been turned by David. She didn't think that Bellamy really wanted to deal with it, which in a way, she could understand. She knew how he felt about vampires. It was the same way she had felt about them. But then she met David, and then Selene. And then she became one. It was hard to become accepting she guessed when there was no chance to do that and maybe that's what built the wall between her and her brother. She wanted to try though. And now he was gone and she was left with wondering if he even realized how much she loved him still, even like this.
David showed her that not all vampires were monsters. She wanted to at least get to show Bellamy that too.
But she couldn't.
The house was quiet. Finn and David were somewhere inside and Octavia was in the backyard, sitting on the swing that was out there. She remembered the last conversation she had with her brother here. She remembered telling him about David and he was just a smart ass about it. It was something she was upset about but now she could just look back on it and smile a little.
Her brother was such a dick sometimes but she loved him.
She heard the cracking of leaves behind her and she got up quickly. The electric fence that was put up by Raven had long since worn out its welcome so there was nothing to keep the zombies at bay but Octavia right now. She drew her sword and walked over carefully, just in case when suddenly the zombie stumbled into view. She swung the sword, cleanly slicing through the neck, beheading the zombie before stabbing it through the head that was rolling around on the ground. She was a vampire and a lot more powerful but she still clung to the weapon she wanted most. She turned around and saw Selene on the back steps of the house as she walked over and sat down on the steps.
"What are we going to do?" Octavia asked her. David was still under some influence that made him want to conquer lands and be a king. Which sounded so ridiculous to her sometimes that she just laughed because he was so animated when he talked about it. It was almost charming but then she remembered how ruthless he could be when talking about it and she knew that wasn't really him.
"I think we should try to find someone to help him," she said, looking up at Selene.
