Who: Cristina, Ash and Dagny What: Checking on the fear craver When: After this Where: Prison to start Warnings: TBD
It didn't take long for Cristina to put her gear on. For the most part, the young shadowhunter was always in it from her black clothing, her hair in a perfect bun all the way down to her boots. Her butterfly knives were tucked, hidden from the world as was her stele and seraph blade. It was all precaution to some, but to her, it was who she was. She would never leave the prison without it. She would never report for sentry duty without it either. And now she made her way toward the gate to meet Ash.
She was still on the fence about him. Perhaps Emma had reason to have caution but Cristina had found that he was not all to worry about. He spoke truths, he had no issue with that and that was something that Cristina had appreciated. She had listened to him as he spoke of Julian and Emma, their situation in the future. It was so tempting to ask him of hers, to find out what the future held for her but she was holding back. She felt it was better to not know, to not have to compare who she was now to who she was in the future where he knew her, or even of her other self. The one from his world.
But oh, was it tempting.
Cristina saw the blonde at the gate, standing, looking rather bored and she narrowed her eyes slightly as she approached him.
She guessed he was right. He did care to some extent. But why?
Looking back at the prison, knowing that Diego was somewhere inside left an emptiness, but she pushed that aside for now. She was confused about him as well. She didn't know where she stood and frankly, she didn't know where he stood with her. For right now, it was best to let whatever this place was take its course. She would figure it out in time.
"Well," she began, her dark eyes on his. "Let's go then," she said simply. They were to head to the projects to check on a girl who revealed that she craves the fear in others. It made her wonder if she was creating this fear, terrifying others. It made Cristina wonder just what she was exactly.
In the grand scheme of things, this was probably minor but Cristina needed a breather. She felt the prison right now was a pressure cooker. She felt it down to her bones and she just needed a breather.
"You think I'm crazy, don't you?" She asked, looking at him briefly before looking ahead as they walked, crossing the open field. There were no zombies around, not yet anyway. Cristina hadn't fought zombies since the night she arrived, finding herself in a drug store only to meet with Emma in the woods. The two of them fought and made their way to the prison in the middle of the night. It was a blessing they were welcomed.
